The loveliest baby in Vancouver, I swear

Baby H came in to see Jane Photo last week with her loving mama and I wanted to share a few of her images with everyone. Oh my goodness, what a sweetie. She just charmed me. It’s not very often one can cajole a 7-month-old into a series of strange hats without complaint, but H...

Sheelagh Brothers - She's darling! Love the red hat with the black & white background, and of course the flower hat with the orange bow is gorgeous!! Wish Nayala had been willing to wear that one :)

The wife and I grabbed a few moments yesterday in all the hubbub of a busy client season to take some portraits of each other. Sooo long overdue; I haven’t had any portraits of me made for years (although some nice ones were captured by Janet Rerecich at our daughter’s wedding this summer), and I...

Fionna - Hee, she is good behind the camera. :) I know when the lens are turned on me, I feel like a fish out of water, so it’s great to be reminded now and then what it is like to be the subject. Have a joyful fall while it lasts!

Jane Photo has volunteered for them for about two and a half years, and it has been my honour to be with many families as they go through an early infant loss....

nomayne McIntosh - Wow, I admire what you are doing for these grieving families. I am a photographer in the Tri-Cities area and found your ad in Urbanbaby. I am right now 12 weeks pregnant with my 4th baby and I don’t think I could photograph grieving parents. It is too close to home for me. All the power to you and fellow photographers who are doing this for the families!
