The K family came to me for both maternity and newborn twin photos. M is such a cool person, and she had an awesome figure–even nearly 8 months pregnant. With twins, you have to photograph a little sooner than with singletons since the chance of an early delivery is so much higher, and we did this, but M was already pretty big, so I’m certain she was uncomfortable when she made it all the way to 38 weeks, lol. Pretty impressive to go that far, when she was retaining pretty well a bathtub full of water. We took ourselves down to the gritty outskirts of the downtown east side on an incredibly chilly day just after the first snow (before the deluge), and we got the most amazing images. I don’t know how M stood the cold, but she said she felt like her own private furnace.
The K family tried and tried to have their babies, so heartfelt congrats, guys.
I will post the (adorable, fantastic, terrific, squooshable) newborns soon, so stay posted.
