Don’t these guys almost look like twins? They are just about the same height, except Ms U is almost two years older! She’s very nearly 8 (this week…happy birthday, Ms U!), while lil’ bro, Mr E, is an adorable six.
They were such a delight to work with. We’d been planning an outdoor session, but Vancouver’s brutish fall illnesses felled them, and by the time they were recovering, the weather was getting pretty winter-like. But no matter, we had soooo much fun together, and I already missed them as soon as they left. (Don’t I just have the best job, losing my heart to little kids over and over and over again?) And I got the neatest compliment ever. As he pulled on his shoes, Mr E was heard to opine with a satisfied sigh: “This has been the best picture day ever.”
