These gals flew up to Vancouver from climes south. Darcy had decided to buy a ring and propose while they were in town skiing. So, sigh, it happened just as she had dreamed, and Angie said yes! But then with the quirk of a lifetime, Angie said, “Know what would make this day even better?” Darcy, having planned so elaborately to surprise her honey, was a little nonplussed. Better? she thought. Wasn’t it already perfect? Turns out that Angie had been planning a surprise proposal, too, and passed her betrothed an engagement ring too! Funniest part of all? They bought the rings at the same store, and the store knew both of them! So everyone there had to keep two big secrets! Bet they’re just dying to know how it all turned out. Btw, the rings are gorgeous, just gorgeous. But so were Angie and Darcy, and it was my great pleasure to help them celebrate their love.

How funny and sweet is that?

Jane Photo was there to capture all the pix, even when the giggling, lovely women jumped on the bed for me!

They decided to have photographs made where Angela works–the Cancer Agency–and at City Square, the mall. They were a hoot to work with–the kind of couple one could only refer to as “game” when I suggested a grocery cart–and I’m so looking forward to the pleasure of capturing their June wedding.
